To ensure that the specialised ventilation products and systems supplied and installed by Interfurn remain compliant to the initial design, guidance and regulations, we offer periodic or planned maintenance programmes as part of our validation and aftersales service regime.

Validation & qualification testing may be completed by an independent company, if required, in order to ensure that your equipment continues to be operational within HTM03-01 guidelines and continues to deliver the clean ventilation essential for sterile operating and preparation areas.

Servicing & Maintenance Contracts

We offer service, maintenance and validation packages tailored according to your requirements. These can be planned to fit in with your regular theatre maintenance programmes, thus minimising downtime. Out-of-hours and weekend working is the expected norm and is included in our proposal. This approach guarantees minimal disruption to equipment operation.

Servicing & Maintenance: Re-validation

Annual validation testing of the ultra clean ventilation (UCV) theatre suite is critical to ensure that your ventilation system is operating correctly to the original design and remains fully compliant with HTM03-01. We recommend regular testing to identify any faults which could result in loss of integrity and possible theatre downtime.

We provide annual re-verification by a competent and qualified engineer using certified equipment and instruments. We can incorporate re-verification into an annual service contract or offer a ‘one off’ visit – in all cases, a full and comprehensive report is provided as part of the package.


Interfurn stock and supply a wide range of products, parts and spares relating to the field of ultra clean ventilation (UCV).

Our fully trained and experienced engineers will install and, if necessary, revalidate your equipment. Currently, ventilation standards request that when HEPA filters are replaced in a UCV system, a DOP / DPC test is carried out and the unit is revalidated.

Spare parts available:

Our engineers carry a full supply of spares so any parts deemed in need of replacement can generally be changed on the day rather than prolonging disruption. We are also able to service and maintain other manufacturers systems, if required.
